Usage functions
Wastewater screening is one of the preliminary mechanical treatments that wastewater undergoes at the entrance of sewage treatment plants to remove and reduce suspended and floating materials. The manual screen is placed in the channel transversely to the flow direction of the effluent.
Periodically or as needed, an operator will manually clean the screen after moving it. Depending on operational requirements, the operator will periodically clear the material deposited on the screen using a rake.
