Usage Function:
The hydraulic bar screen is used to remove debris captured by the screens at intake structures. It is employed in deep channels and situations where it is necessary to lift the screen to a specific level.
This machine is useful in civil and industrial wastewater treatment plants or at the beginning of lifting plants to protect submersible pumps.

Construction Features
It consists of a robust frame made of cold-formed carbon steel sheet, reinforced with guides for the comb system that collects solids and a grid composed of inclined bars spaced at intervals ranging from 15 to 100 mm. A comb performs the cleaning action by opening and extending itself at the lowest point of the grid, then rising and leaning against it, capturing and removing the retained solids up to the highest discharge point. The entire cycle is controlled by a hydraulic control unit, which manages the descent and ascent of the comb and controls the opening and closing of the comb itself. The machine is equipped with all safety devices to prevent overloads or accidental damage, including a minimum oil level sensor, a maximum oil temperature thermostat, a minimum oil temperature thermostat (in case of startup during cold periods), with a corresponding heating resistor, a timer to control the duration of the cleaning cycle in automatic mode, and a general maximum pressure valve. The installation angle is 60° relative to the horizontal.
